Dr. David M Zloty
Personal Summary:
Dr. David Zloty is Clinical Associate Professor. Dept. of Dermatology and Skin Science, at the University of British Columbia. He is Director of the Mohs Skin Cancer Fellowship at UBC, Director of Surgical Education in the Dept of Dermatology and Skin Science at UBC, and Director of the Dermatologic Surgery Centre at Vancouver General Hospital. Dr. Zloty is Past President of the Canadian Society of Dermatologic Surgery; Past President of the Dermatologic Society of British Columbia; and previous Treasurer of the Canadian Dermatology Association.
Dr. Zloty completed dermatology at UBC in 1994, Followed by a Fellowship in Mohs Surgery at Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland Oregon. His practice over the last 16 years has been restricted to the surgical aspects of dermatologic care. This includes the use of Mohs Micrographic Surgery for high risk skin cancers, wide excisions of melanoma, as well as cosmetic mole/cyst/lipoma removal. Dr. Zloty has been using neuro-modulating molecules such as Botox® or Xeomin®, and soft tissue fillers, such as Juvederm© or Restylane® extensively since 1996Medical School and Year of Graduation:
